Denton ISD Summer Seminar 2024

This session focuses on deepening teachers' understanding and application of Gestalt principles in language learning contexts with students who use scripted and/or echolalic speech. Participants will explore how Gestalt theory can enhance language instruction by emphasizing holistic comprehension, context, and cognitive processes. Through practical examples and interactive activities, teachers will gain insights into designing immersive and meaningful learning experiences that align with Gestalt principles, ultimately improving language acquisition and retention for diverse learners.
